We’re continuing to learn about the amazing seabirds that breed on the Pribilof Islands.
After a great field trip to the cliffs, kids attending Seabird Camp split off into different groups to put together a short documentary about each of the main seabird species they saw.
Very similar birds breed on the Commander Islands, and we hope our friends who live there will enjoy this series of movies.
We’ll start off with one of the most wackiest looking species… the Parakeet Auklet (Aethia psittacula).
The Russian name for Parakeet Auklet is Большая конюга.
