Ashley and Bay Rose worked with Dr. Alexis Will (World Wildlife Fund) to design an experiment looking at whether the coloration of least auklets breeding on St. Paul Island is linked with personality type (measured as boldness of behaviour). Ashley and Bay Rose followed the whole process of designing the experiment, data collection, and the analysis and interpretation of results.
The Alaska Bird Conference was a great opportunity to present their results and meet with other scientists from around the state.
