Ann will be flying to St. George next week to work with three student interns. These intern positions are funded through the Aleutian Pribilof Island Community Development Association (APICDA) intern program. The trip is funded by APICDA and the Alaska Conservation Foundation, and supported by the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge (AMNWR), the Traditional Council of St. George, and the Pribilof School District. Thank you to everyone for making this program possible.
The students will be largely focused on AMNWR field-work, helping biologists conduct studies on the breeding seabirds. We’ll also run a few camp activities and field trips for the younger kids.
